The Face Behind the Camera
ALL ABOUT AMY
Beyond the camera, I’m a wife, a mum of three and a proud dog mum to two very loved four-legged companions. Family is at the heart of everything I do, which is perhaps why I’m so drawn to capturing the connection, emotion and little moments that make life so meaningful.
I grew up surrounded by farming life, so I’ve always had a deep love for the outdoors, open spaces and the beauty of nature. When I’m not photographing love stories, you’ll usually find me enjoying the simple things getting outside with my family, curled up with a good romance novel, or catching up with my bestie over a fancy mocktail. Oh, and when my busy schedule allows, I’m attempting to teach myself the piano. One note and one slightly questionable tune, at a time!
WHY I LOVE
WEDDINGS
That’s why I love weddings so much. I love getting to know my couples, hearing their stories and discovering all the little things that make their relationship uniquely theirs. There’s something so special about building that connection and then translating it into images that feel personal, genuine and completely you. Knowing that the photographs I deliver will take you right back to how you felt in those moments is one of my favourite parts of what I do.
I’m a big believer that the best moments aren’t always the perfectly posed ones. They’re the stolen glances, the belly laughs, the happy tears and the moments in between the ones that make you feel something. And those are exactly the moments I love to preserve.
