... I’m Amy, and I’m a wedding and lifestyle photographer who loves capturing the beauty of life in a down-to-earth way. I grew up with a farmer Dad and being outdoors has always been a big part of who I am. That’s why my photography style feels so connected to nature, earthy, real and full of life. There’s something magical about capturing moments that are raw and true to the world around us, and that’s what I try to do in every shoot

 

I’ve loved photography since I was young even more at thirteen when I got my first digital camera. Since then, it’s been my favourite way of freezing time and preserving those little moments that make life special. These days, I’m lucky enough to share my life with my amazing husband, our two little girls and our two energetic Border Collies. We are definitely a competitive family we love a good challenge or a board game.  As a family, we love exploring new places together, whether it's a weekend getaway or just a hike in the woods.

 

Lately, I’ve been focusing on slowing down and truly living in the moment. A fun little fact: I randomly bought a piano off Facebook Marketplace (even though I have no idea how to play!) and I’m slowly learning. I’ve also developed a love for reading, so if you have any good book recommendations send them my way! And of course, I’m a sucker for a good film. That’s where my love of cinematic moments comes from and I try to bring that cinematic vibe into my photography, because every moment deserves to feel like it’s part of something bigger.

 

Another creative outlet of mine is our home. My husband and I are slowly renovating, and I absolutely love creating interior mood boards and documenting our home journey. I really love the cottage aesthetic and all the character of an old whimsical home. You can often find me in the kitchen whipping up a bougie mocktail or curled up in bed with a book. It’s been such a fun process, and I enjoy sharing it along the way. There’s something special about bringing a space to life, just like capturing the perfect moment with my camera.
